"content": "Shipping Last updated 5 August 2026. We post from Thailand to customers all over the world. Everything below is our own delivery policy, written plainly so you know what to expect before you order. Where we ship Worldwide. Orders are packed and posted in Thailand by Caruso Consulting Co Ltd and travel to you from there. If your country has an import restriction that stops a parcel getting through, we will tell you and refund you rather than let the parcel sit in a customs shed. What delivery costs Delivery is a flat $9 per order, and it is free on orders of $75 or more . That is the same price to every country we ship to. All prices on this site, including delivery, are in US dollars. The delivery charge covers getting the parcel to you. It does not cover any duty or tax your own country may charge on the way in. See the customs section below. How long it takes This is the part most shops are vague about, so here is the honest version. Delivery times from Thailand vary a lot depending on where you are, which carrier handles the last leg, and how quickly your country's customs process the parcel. The times below are estimates, not guarantees , and they start from when the parcel leaves us, not from when you place the order. Thailand and nearby countries in Asia: usually about 3 to 10 working days. United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand: usually about 10 to 25 working days. Everywhere else: it depends heavily on the destination. Ask us before you order and we will give you the best estimate we can. Some things reliably make it slower: a customs inspection, a remote or rural address, a public holiday in Thailand or in your country, and the weeks before Christmas. We cannot control any of those, so please do not order on the assumption a parcel will land by a fixed date. We aim to get orders packed and posted promptly once payment has cleared. If something is going to hold your order up at our end, we will email you rather than leave you guessing. Tracking Every parcel is tracked. You will get a tracking link by email as soon as your order is on its way. Tracking updates from international post can be slow to appear and often go quiet while a parcel is in transit between countries, which is normal and does not mean it is lost. See Track Your Parcel if you need a hand reading yours. Customs duties and import taxes Your parcel is being imported into your country. That means any customs duty, import tax, VAT, GST or courier handling fee charged by your country is your responsibility , not ours. It is charged by your government, not by us, and it is not included in the price you pay at checkout. Whether you get charged anything at all depends on your country's rules and the value of the order. Many countries let low value parcels through with nothing to pay. Some do not. If you are not sure, your national customs or post office website is the right place to check before you order. If a parcel is refused or abandoned because the duty was not paid, we cannot refund the delivery cost, and we can only refund the goods if the parcel actually comes back to us. Delivery addresses Please check your address carefully at checkout, including any apartment or unit number. We send parcels to the address you give us. If it is wrong or incomplete and the parcel goes astray or comes back to Thailand, we will do what we can, but we cannot cover the cost of sending it out again. Missing or damaged parcels If your tracking has not moved for a long time, or the parcel arrives damaged, email us at theteam@thaifishermanpants.net with your order number and we will chase it with the carrier and sort it out with you. Your rights We are a Thai company, so Thai law applies to the sale, including the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) and the Electronic Transactions Act B.E. 2544 (2001). Because we sell to people all over the world, you may also have rights under the consumer law of your own country. Nothing on this page takes those rights away. "content": "Refunds & Returns Last updated 5 August 2026. We want you to be happy with what you buy. Here is exactly how returns work, including the parts that are awkward because we post from Thailand. Our 14-day return policy You have 14 days from the day your parcel is delivered to tell us you want to return an item. This is a policy we choose to offer. It is not a legal right you have under Thai law, and we are being upfront about that so you know where you stand. It sits on top of whatever rights you already have, and it does not replace them. To use it, email theteam@thaifishermanpants.net with your order number before the 14 days are up. We will reply with return instructions and the address to send to. What condition the item has to be in The item needs to come back unworn and in its original condition , with any tags and packaging it arrived with. Trying a pair on to check the fit is fine. Wearing them out for a day is not. If something comes back worn, washed or damaged, we may not be able to refund it in full. We will always tell you what we have found and why before we do anything. Read this before you post anything back We are in Thailand. International postage back to us can easily cost more than a low priced item is worth, and that cost lands on you, not us, for a change of mind return. So please email us first . Depending on what it is and what went wrong, there is often a better answer than paying to post it halfway around the world. Do not send anything back before we have replied, because we cannot process a return we were not expecting. Who pays the return postage Changed your mind, wrong size, not what you pictured: you pay to post it back to Thailand. We recommend a tracked service, because until the item reaches us it is still your parcel. Faulty, damaged in transit, or not the item you ordered: we cover it. Send us a photo and your order number and we will sort out the return at no cost to you, and either replace the item or refund you, whichever you prefer. The original delivery charge is refunded when the item was faulty or wrong. For a change of mind return, we refund the price of the goods. Refunds Refunds go back to the payment method you used, through Stripe or PayPal. There is no store credit and no restocking fee. We process the refund once your item is back with us and checked. From there, how quickly the money shows up is down to your bank or card issuer, and it is usually a few working days. If something arrives faulty or wrong Tell us. Email theteam@thaifishermanpants.net with your order number and a photo, and we will put it right. This applies whether or not the 14 days have passed, because a faulty item is a different thing from a change of mind. Cancelling before dispatch If your order has not gone out yet, email us and we will cancel it and refund you in full. Once a parcel has left Thailand it has to be returned under the policy above. Your legal rights We are Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, a Thai company, so Thai law applies to the sale, including the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) and the Electronic Transactions Act B.E. 2544 (2001). "summary": "How Thai Fisherman Pants collects, uses, shares and protects personal data under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562, including cookies and analytics.",
"content": "This policy explains what personal data Thai Fisherman Pants , a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd (\"we\", \"us\" or \"our\"), collects when you use thaifishermanpants.net or buy from us, what we do with it, and who else touches it. We are a Thai company, so this policy is written to the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) , known as the PDPA. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. If you live somewhere with its own privacy law, that law may give you extra rights, and this policy does not take them away. Any question about your data, or any request to see it, correct it or delete it, goes to theteam@thaifishermanpants.net . What we collect What you give us when you order: your name, delivery address, billing address, email address and phone number. What you give us when you get in touch: your name, email address and whatever you write in your message. Order records: what you bought, the amount, the currency, the date, and a reference from the payment provider. Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe or PayPal on their own pages. We never see or store your full card number. Website statistics: only if you accept cookies. That means things like which pages were viewed, the type of device and browser, and roughly which country the visit came from. See our Cookie Policy for exactly how that works. We do not collect sensitive personal data as the PDPA defines it, such as health, religion, ethnicity or biometrics. Please do not send us any of that. Why we use it, and our lawful basis To take and deliver your order, and to support you afterwards. Basis: performing our contract with you. To email you an order confirmation and delivery updates. Basis: performing our contract with you. To keep accounting and tax records. Basis: our legal obligations in Thailand. To prevent fraud and keep the site secure. Basis: our legitimate interest in running the shop safely, balanced against your rights. To measure how the website is used. Basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner, and withdrawable at any time. To send marketing email, if we ever do. Basis: your consent. We will ask first, and every such email will have an unsubscribe link. Who processes your data for us We keep the list short on purpose. These are the only companies that handle personal data on our behalf: Stripe and PayPal , for taking payment. You are taken to their pages to pay, and they receive the payment and contact details needed to process it and to run their own fraud checks. Resend , for sending our transactional email, such as order confirmations and replies to enquiries. It handles the email address the message is sent to and the content of that message. Google Analytics 4 , for website statistics. It is loaded only after you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, or ignore the banner, it is never loaded. Vercel , which hosts this website and serves its pages. Supabase , which stores our order records so we can look up an order when you contact us. We also give your name, address and phone number to the postal or courier service carrying your parcel, because they cannot deliver it otherwise. That is the whole list. We do not run advertising pixels, we do not use remarketing tags, and we do not sell personal data to anyone . We may disclose data where a law or a lawful order requires it. Sending data outside Thailand The companies above operate outside Thailand, and you may live outside Thailand too, so your data will cross borders. Where the PDPA requires it, we rely on the destination having adequate protection or on the provider's own contractual safeguards, and we only use providers that publish a privacy commitment we can read. How long we keep it Order and payment records are kept for as long as Thai accounting and tax law requires. Enquiry emails are kept while the conversation is useful and then deleted. Website statistics are kept in aggregate. When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or strip out anything that identifies you. Your rights under the PDPA You can ask us to: Tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy of it. Correct anything that is wrong or out of date. Delete your data, where we do not need to keep it for a legal reason. Stop or restrict what we are doing with it. Object to a particular use, including any marketing. Send your data to you or to another provider in a portable form. Withdraw consent you gave us, at any time. That includes analytics, which you can turn off using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Email theteam@thaifishermanpants.net and tell us what you want. We do not charge for this, and we will reply within the time the PDPA allows. We may ask a question or two to confirm it is really you before we hand over or delete anything. If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can fix it. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand, or to the privacy regulator in your own country if you have one. Security The site is served over an encrypted connection, payment happens on Stripe's and PayPal's own secure pages, and access to order records is limited to the people who need it. No system online is perfectly secure, but we do not keep data we do not need, which is the best protection there is. Children This shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will remove them. Changes to this policy If we change how we handle personal data, or add a provider to the list above, we will update this page and change the date at the top. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them, so please read them. Who you are buying from We are a Thai company. Orders are packed and posted from Thailand, and we send them to customers all over the world. All prices on this site are in US dollars. Using this website You may use the site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to: Use it in a way that breaks any law that applies to you or to us. Try to get unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with how the site runs or how it is secured. Copy, republish or resell our text, photographs, branding or design without written permission from us. Give false information, or pretend to be someone else. The content of this site, including our name, logo, photographs and written copy, belongs to us or to the people who license it to us, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. Products and descriptions We describe what we sell as accurately as we can. Photographs are there to show you the item, and colours can look different on different screens, so small differences in shade are normal. Thai fisherman pants use a wrap waistband that ties, so one pair fits a range of waist sizes rather than one fixed measurement. Our Disclaimer covers this in more detail. Prices All prices are shown in US dollars. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay us. It does not include any customs duty or import tax your own country may charge when the parcel arrives, which is covered on our Shipping page. We try hard to keep prices correct. If we spot a genuine pricing error on an order you have placed, we will contact you and let you choose whether to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We will not simply charge you more. Orders Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract between us is formed when we accept your order and send it. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if the item turns out to be unavailable or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full. You are responsible for giving us a correct and complete delivery address and contact details. We cannot cover a re-delivery caused by an address that was wrong. Under the Electronic Transactions Act B.E. 2544 (2001), an order placed and confirmed electronically is as valid as one placed on paper. Our order confirmation email is your record of the contract. Payment Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe or PayPal , on their own secure encrypted pages. We never see or store your full card number. Your order is processed once the payment is authorised. Delivery, returns and cancellation Delivery costs, honest delivery time estimates and who pays customs charges are set out on our Shipping page. Our voluntary 14-day return policy, who pays return postage, and what happens if an item is faulty are set out on our Refunds & Returns page. Both pages form part of these terms. The 14-day return window is a policy we choose to offer. It is not a statutory right under Thai law, and it is offered on top of your legal rights, never instead of them. Your rights as a consumer Thai law protects you when you buy from us, including the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) and the Electronic Transactions Act B.E. 2544 (2001). Because we sell worldwide, you may also have rights under the consumer law of the country you live in. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away or limits them. Where your local law gives you protection that cannot be signed away, it still applies to your order. Limitation of liability As far as the law allows: Our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to what you paid for the goods in that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or opportunity. The website is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our Limited Liability Indemnity page has the full detail. Privacy and cookies How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy , which follows the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019). What the site stores in your browser is set out in our Cookie Policy . Governing law and disputes These terms are governed by the law of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction over any dispute. That does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there where your local law allows it. If something has gone wrong, please email us first. Most things are quicker to fix that way than through a formal process. Changes to these terms We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Questions about these terms? Email theteam@thaifishermanpants.net or call +66 098 391 3877 .
